Looking for a unique, charming space for your next event? Root to Rise Plant Shop offers a beautifully curated backyard venue, perfect for workshops, markets, parties, gatherings, and more. Located less than two blocks from the Georgetown Square, with Rose & Dagger onsite coffee shop, this cozy and inviting space is ideal for your guests to enjoy.

Seating & Furniture

  • 2 picnic tables, 1 farmhouse table, 2 bistro tables, and 2 benches

  • 2 outdoor rugs available

  • Additional tables/chairs available for rental (fee applies)

  • Guests may bring their own seating, tables, or blankets
     

Lighting, Sound & Amenities

  • String lights + 2 large outdoor lights (no cost)

  • Microphone and speaker included

  • Refrigerator/freezer available

  • 1 indoor bathroom available

  • Events over 75 guests may require a porta potty rental
     

General Features

  • Spacious outdoor, plant-filled setting

  • Shade cloths provide limited shade but do not offer shelter from weather events

  • Access to electricity and Wi-Fi

  • Tents may be set up in designated areas (must be approved in advance)

  • Optional add-ons: plant bar setup, décor assistance, tables/chairs

  • Street parking + nearby public lot
     

Additional Services Available**

  • Plant Bar Experience: Fun, interactive DIY potting stations (custom pricing available)

  • Plant Favors: Perfect for gifts, giveaways, and raffle prizes

  • Rose & Dagger Coffee Shop: Can be opened for private events upon request

  • Hat Bar Experience: Create your own custom hat with embellishments and accessories (custom pricing available)

  • Event Styling & Décor Assistance: Let us help you create the perfect aesthetic ($50+ depending on needs)

Booking Information

  • A 50% deposit is required to reserve your date

  • Final payment is due one week before the event

  • Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance for a partial refund

  • Setup and cleanup time should be included in your rental period

Event Pricing Outline

Our pricing is based on ticket sales revenue or a flat fee based on headcount for non-ticketed events.

Option 1: Scaled % of Ticket Sales (For ticketed events)

  • 20% of ticket sales for events priced under $50 per person

  • 18% of ticket sales for events priced $50+ per person

  • Includes venue use, basic setup, staffing, and event promotion support
     

Option 2: Scaled Flat Fee (For non-ticketed events)

Hourly Rates – 2 Hour Minimum

  • Up to 25 guests → $55/hour

  • 26–50 guests → $150/hour

  • 51+ guests → Custom pricing based on event needs
